Ordering:
To purchase any model listed using a major credit card through Pay Pal, simply click on the "Add to Cart" button below the desired model.
To purchase a model using a check or money order, please send it to the address below. Make checks or money orders payable to "Island Modelworks LLC" Models will be held until check clears, usually about two weeks. Please include $6.50 for shipping. New York residents must include your local sales tax. Orders without sales tax or shipping will be delayed until these charges are received. Please drop us an email if you plan to send in an order so that we can expect your payment.
All models that are available will have the "Add to Cart" button, if there is no button, the model is not currently available, please check back soon or email us to check availability.
Models are produced on a made to order basis and will generally ship out within a few days to a few weeks time after order is received. During the months of June, July, and August, this delay may be slightly longer due to the summer lull and models are not being cast as often. We will make every effort possible to get orders out as quick as possible.
All kits are craftsman style kits. They are resin kits for the more experienced modeler and are of subject matter highly unlikely to mass produced in plastic or by any other manufacturer. The models require the modeler to remove flash from all openings,windows, etc.. as well as sanding as necessary. Kits can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours to assemble, dependent upon the skill level of the modeler. The models have been designed to be as easy as possible to build. Paint, although required, is not included in the kits. Models that are shells only are just that, shells. No chassis or anything else is included.
