N scale models feature:
One piece shells.
Chassis with details cast in place.
Trucks.
Most models are produced on an "as ordered" basis,
please allow up to 1-6 weeks for delivery.
Some modelers have expressed interest in using Kato's
inside bearing trucks, part number 800131, in place of the included trucks.
You can order the Comets without our trucks if you plan to use the Kato version.
Order as normal, and note on the invoice stating that you do not want our trucks,
we will issue you a refund in the amount of $5.00 per model ordered.
The trucks can be ordered directly from Kato or from other retailers at a discount,
do an online search for the Kato part number.
Comet II
These models have been retooled, all new, thinner shells,
new chassis with stabilizers cast in place, new 2 piece metal trucks.
We now carry 33" NS flush axle,
weathered wheel sets by NWSL to go with these models, for your convenience.
